The Henry Awards for Public Interest Documentary are a program of The Shorenstein Center’s Documentary in the Public Interest program. The Awards accept nominations for documentary films that deepen our understanding of the world, making us better-informed citizens.

Our concept for the Awards brand was all about “shining a light” on documentary films that enhance and encourage democracy by focusing on the significant issues of our time. We visually represented this metaphor by creating a mark of overlapping “frames” paired with colors and typography that are eye-catching and bold.
